Cookie Policy

This policy explains how Nexarine uses cookies and similar browser-storage technologies on nexarine.com. It is written to comply with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR) and the UK GDPR. Read alongside our Privacy Notice.

1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store on your device. Cookies let a site recognise your device across page loads and visits. We also use the related browser feature called local storage in the same way, to remember choices you have made.

2. Essential storage (no consent required)

These items are strictly necessary for the site to function as you have requested and are therefore exempt from the consent requirement under PECR. No data is sent to a third party.

3. Optional analytics (consent required)

If you choose Accept all on the cookie banner, we may load a privacy-respecting analytics script in order to understand which reviews are most read, what device classes our readers use and how the site performs. This data is aggregated. We do not use analytics for advertising profiling, and we do not link analytics data to any individual.

If you choose Reject optional, no analytics script is loaded and no analytics cookies are set. The site works identically either way.

4. Cookies we do not use

Nexarine does not use advertising cookies, retargeting cookies, social-media tracking pixels or fingerprinting libraries. We do not embed third-party widgets that set their own cookies on our pages.

5. Changing your mind

You can withdraw consent to optional cookies at any time by clearing site data for nexarine.com in your browser's settings, this also removes the consent record itself, so the banner will reappear on your next visit and you can re-choose. All major browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari) offer per-site clear-data controls.

6. Outbound links

When you click an outbound link to an operator featured in our reviews, you leave nexarine.com. That operator's site sets its own cookies under its own policy. Nexarine has no control over those cookies and no role in their use.

7. Updates

We review this policy at least annually and whenever we change a material cookie practice. The header above shows the date of the most recent review.
